I walked on to a packed room tonight and the atmosphere was amazing.  People around here know how to ignore the recession and just enjoy some music.  Some true John Denver diehard fans in the room tonight and they made me feel very welcome. Special thanks to Roger, Pam and the team, some of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet.  A very special night all round.

Hello and welcome to my first blog (hate that word by the way)

The seed of the idea for this show 'The music of John Denver' was planted way back in the early 90s.  Reviews of my debut album 'Only Human' had been published and a few of them had compared my songwriting and vocal style to that of John Denver.  This came as a surprise to me as I certainly hadn't considered John a major influence up to that point.  I had, however always admired his beautiful, clear singing voice and his music was ...
