Coniston Institute August 14 2010

First night of the Lake District Tour, saw two buzzards flying over Coniston which seemed to be a good omen for the concert and indeed it was. Fantastic night and made some great new friends. Returned to the hotel in Windermere a very happy man.

Special thanks go out to Glenda Ross for setting up this concert, the people who came out to see the show tonight (and my goodness, weren't there a lot of you) had a great night and so did I.  It always comes as something of a surprise to find that John's music is still very much alive and well in these communities and it's an honour to do my small part in keeping it alive.

Caton Victoria Institute May 23 2010

The second of the RNLI shows which raised almost £300 pounds for the lifeboats and their incredibly brave volunteers.  Thanks to everyone who attended and thanks for your wonderful welcome in this charming Lancashire village.  It was great to see Maurice and Lena at tonights show, congratulations to you both on the recent occasion of your diamond wedding anniversary.

Whittington Village Hall April 16 2010

Another gem, this recently refurbished hall has retained all of it's original charm and it was a real pleasure to sing in.  Thanks to everyone for attending the show, a great night.  It's always been a dream of mine to play in some of England's prettiest villages and Whittington is certainly one of them.  Walked out into one of the starriest nights I've ever seen, the perfect end to a brilliant night.
