Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances this show had to be rescheduled, my apologies to the people who were disappointed and thank you to the people who came back on the Wednesday. We met some lovely people at the show and it was nice to meet the former Mayor of Keswick on the night.

First night of the Lake District Tour, saw two buzzards flying over Coniston which seemed to be a good omen for the concert and indeed it was. Fantastic night and made some great new friends. Returned to the hotel in Windermere a very happy man.

One of the most beautiful village halls in Lancashire, fantastic staff and great people. Good to see so many people here tonight including a couple who'd arrived on holiday from Ontario Canada the day before, hearing a Lancashire lad singing Johns songs in Mere Brow must have seemed very surreal. See you next year, brilliant night.

Special thanks go out to Glenda Ross for setting up this concert, the people who came out to see the show tonight (and my goodness, weren't there a lot of you) had a great night and so did I. It always comes as something of a surprise to find that John's music is still very much alive and well in these communities and it's an honour to do my small part in keeping it alive.
