One of the most beautiful village halls in Lancashire, fantastic staff and great people. Good to see so many people here tonight including a couple who'd arrived on holiday from Ontario Canada the day before, hearing a Lancashire lad singing Johns songs in Mere Brow must have seemed very surreal. See you next year, brilliant night.

Samlesbury Village Hall is a fantastically designed room with a great sound and I had a great time with you people tonight. First show so far where I've done multiple encores! Thanks to all the staff for being so professional.

Special thanks go out to Glenda Ross for setting up this concert, the people who came out to see the show tonight (and my goodness, weren't there a lot of you) had a great night and so did I. It always comes as something of a surprise to find that John's music is still very much alive and well in these communities and it's an honour to do my small part in keeping it alive.
