Another gem, this recently refurbished hall has retained all of it's original charm and it was a real pleasure to sing in. Thanks to everyone for attending the show, a great night. It's always been a dream of mine to play in some of England's prettiest villages and Whittington is certainly one of them. Walked out into one of the starriest nights I've ever seen, the perfect end to a brilliant night.

I walked on to a packed room tonight and the atmosphere was amazing. People around here know how to ignore the recession and just enjoy some music. Some true John Denver diehard fans in the room tonight and they made me feel very welcome. Special thanks to Roger, Pam and the team, some of the nicest people you could ever wish to meet. A very special night all round.

I followed a genuine opera society at this hall so I guess I had a lot to live up to! Great room, great stage and a fantastic audience. Thanks to everyone who travelled from far and wide to attend the show (Kirkby Lonsdale, Wigan and even Nottingham!) A special thankyou to Mark for all his help in making this one happen.

It's not often you get to meet the man who designed the building you're performing in but that is the case with this fantastic venue, thanks to Marcus for all his help and the people who attended this show, one of Lancashire's finest village halls.

I love this hall, I can just imagine it reverberating with the sound of big bands during the forties and fifties, another sympathetically refurbished venue with loads of character. Thanks to the lady who told me I had brought John back to life for her tonight, I can't think of a higher compliment than that.

First of all what a beautiful village, and a fantastic venue. Thanks to all the staff at the hall and the people of Barbon for making me so welcome. Was that the quilt from 'Grandma's feather bed' hanging on the wall behind the stage I wonder? Can't wait to return in the near future.
